You can find all the sweetest baby goats here! 50 playful little goats are born on our Maine farm each spring and they love to run, play, hop and snuggle. We love each member of our herd like family. Each goat has a name and distinct personality and every goat born here is honored with a long happy life. It is the least we can do for all the joy and delicious milk the goats bring us! The goat kids aren’t ready for bed!
The kids have gotten pretty good at putting themselves to bed…except for when they’re not! The last few nights they have been wild. Instead of running into their stall for dinner, they have been up to all kinds of shenanigans running here and there and into the woods and making us catch almost every single one of them. I love each of these sweet babies so much! We are keeping three! Bean, Rasberry Sassafras and Verona all have sweet faces, and lots of fun spots! The rest head to loving homes in the weeks ahead! We will miss them like crazy!

We have 7 new goat babies in the barn and they came out ready to hop! Thistle had three mini nubian boys! Timber, Tundra & Thoreau! We have had 38 goat babies born this spring with three mamas left to kid between now and the 4th of July! The little kids are now good at finding their mom’s in the barn, and sure footed so we set them out to pasture with the rest of the herd for the day! They now have a whole new world to explore. I love how in the first week, baby goats lead into every hop with their head! It’s as if they have to gather up enough steam and courage to get their feet off the ground.
